Job Description:

As a Safety Engineer, you will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining a safe working environment. Your responsibilities will focus on developing, implementing, and maintaining safety management systems, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with KSA labor laws and international safety standards. You will work closely with teams to integrate safety into project planning and execution, ensuring every aspect of our operations is aligned with the highest safety standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Investigate incidents, near-misses, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure the integration of safety measures in project planning and execution.
  • Ensure compliance with KSA labor laws and international safety standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on best safety practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in safety engineering, preferably in KSA or other GCC countries.
  • Compulsory certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, and HSE certification.
  • Strong knowledge of KSA labor laws and international safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Safety Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in the oil, gas, construction, or manufacturing industries.
  • Additional certifications, such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CMIOSH (Chartered Member of IOSH), will be highly regarded.
