Karam LAO400 load arrestor is a retractable tensioned safety line that is primarily used for protection of heavy machinery. These fall arrestors help in safeguarding costly equipments and reducing chances of injury to personnel in the vicinity. Basically, it is a backup safety system that protects a load at a height from fall in case the primary means of support fail. During instances of free fall the cable is pulled out at an accelerating rate and when the activation speed is achieved, the braking system engages and brings the load to a smooth and cushioned stop.
